The Addition has a somewhat unique heating/cooling system. Common in Europe and also installed at Vancouver House, Telus Gardens, and 1555 W. 8th Building (also built by Kenstone). Note: The promo material calls it a "forced-air heating, cooling, and ventilation system". The cooling function is turned on centrally in the late spring/early summer. It is NOT air conditioning, rather it provides cooling air. Big difference. In the early fall, the system reverts to heating. The system provides "advanced in-suite metering technology and occupancy-detecting thermostats". Hot water usage is also metered. It is energy efficient and environmentally friendly. This was the selling feature when we bought in.
Note: There is NO visitor parking. Unit does not come with a parking space, but they are often available for rent in the $100/month range
