Cottonwood Village - 7610 Evans Rd, Chilliwack, BC V2R 2X8 - located in Sardis West Vedder Rd area of Sardis.  This complex nestled close to everything - shopping, medical services, theatres, restaurants and transit. Have a great dinner with your friends and family at Boston pizza, Seven sushi, Taco Bell or Quiznos that are minutes away from the complex. Enjoy your shopping at Cottonwood Mall, buy your groceries at Canada Safeway or at Real Canadian Superstore that are in the neighbourhood. The Cottonwood Village was built in 1990. It has frame-wood constuction and one level. There are 143 units in development and 214 in strata. The maintenance fee includes garbage pickup, gardening, management and taxes. One pet is allowed. Rentals are not permitted. The complex is adult oriented and the age restriction is 55+. Most homes feature 2 bedroom, 2 bathrooms, spacious kitchen with eating area, patio, private yard and storage. 

The housing is friendlier to older adults, more compact, with easier navigation and assistance in outside maintenance. An assisted living facility may be a good choice if you dont need the round-the-clock medical care and supervision of a nursing home. Some facilities provide minor help with medications as well. Staff is available twenty-four hours a day. You do not need to provide medical evidence that you need a minimum level of care. A retirement home is a multi-residence housing facility intended for senior citizens. Assistance may include the administration or supervision of medication, or personal care services provided by a trained staff person. An assisted living facility may be a good choice if you dont need the round-the-clock medical care and supervision of a nursing home. Assisted living comes by many names, such as residential care, board and care, or group homes. A nursing home may be a good choice if you need a higher level of care temporarily after a hospitalization, but its anticipated you will be able to return to home or another facility after a period of time. Housing arrangements for the future can be a stressful, anxiety-provoking topic for you and your family.
