Watson Elementary, Flemings Coner Store, Wanetas Hairloom, Mt Slesse Middle School, Watson Glen Skatepark, Chilliwack Minor Hockey Association, University of the Fraser Valley, Terbara Hair Care, Save On Foods, Shoppers Drug Mart, different banks are in the neighbourhood. If you want to have you dinner out, you can enjoy it at Panago Pizza, Moonlily, Jackson's Steak House, Maru Sushi or Domino's Pizza that are minutes from the Westwind. Short walk to Garrison Village, enjoy the fantastic leisure and retail facility's without paying the Garrison prices! Fish for salmon on the world famous Vedder River or just enjoy trails such as the Rotary Trail along the riverbank. Just ten-minute drive to Cultus Lake and several golf courses within easy reach. This complex is a few minutes from Hwy #1 via Eavans Rd. This complex was built in 2008. It has three levels and frame-wood construction. There are 29 units in development and in strata. The maintenance fee includes garbage pickup and gardening. One pet is allowed. These innovative townhomes were originally constructed in the 1960s, and although they arent old enough to warrant heritage status, they do hold particular significance to the community of Garrison Crossing. These buildings were once home to Canadian Military Engineers and honouring military members and their contributions to the community is central to Canada Lands Companys master plan for Garrison Crossing. Through refurbishing some of the original residences, CLC has helped preserve the legacy of the former Canadian Forces Base. The Quarters are brick townhomes, beautifully refurbished by master renovators, Gore Brother Construction.Each townhome features a bright, open floor
plan and a fabulous use of space. The renovators were able to salvage the original solid
maple floors in all the townhomes, adding to the chic ambience. The main living areas are
entry level, with bedrooms upstairs and an unfinished basement downstairs. The homesare also roughed in for a built-in vacuum and pre-wired for security system. Some other outstanding features in The Quarters include crown moldings, generous use of designer pot lights, electric heat and fireplace, four stainless steel appliances and fully finished landscaping in front and back. All you have to do is move in.
