Fitness 2000, Bell Park, Burnaby Cariboo RV Park, London Drugs, Cameron Park, Coquatlam College, Burnaby Mountain Secondary and Simon Fraser University are close to the complex. Vannian Cafe, Edgwood Place, Bookside Court, Yan's Garden Chinese, Insadong Korean, White Spot, Sushi 2 Go, Sushi California are a few restaurants in the neighbourhood to chose from for a family dinner. The Discovery Place I has an easy access to Trans-Canada Hwy1. The bus stop next to the complex and Lougheed Skytrain station within minutes of walk. The Discovery Place I was built in 1985. It is a 25-level concrete building. Pets are not allowed in this complex. Approximately one million Canadians (4 per cent) said they are thinking of moving in with family.

4 Teranet-National Bank data report that housing market will slowdown

Teranet addressed the optimism shown in other reporting data. The organization remained cautious, however, about the state of Canada’s housing market. 

“According to CREA, overall Canadian home sales returned to a more normal level, and this should be soon reflected in land registries,” the release reads. “But question marks still lie ahead. We expect the Canadian unemployment rate to remain elevated for a while. In this context, demand for housing may decrease due to a reduction in immigration and would-be first-time homebuyers not being able to qualify for a mortgage loan.”

5 The road to a full recovery, defined as economic activity reaching its pre-COVID-19 level, B.C

British Columbia is poised to weather the economic uncertainty of the COVID-19 better than all other provinces, according to a new report from Deloitte Canada.

“The B.C. economy will be the outperformer, posting the mildest downturn and returning to pre-COVID levels the quickest,” Deloitte Canada chief economist Craig Alexander wrote in a June 25 outlook.
