The Globe is only steps from the Salty Tongue for coffee in the morning, the Irish Heather for pints after work, and Boneta/L'Abattoir for an amazing dinner. Walk to  London Drugs and a lot private pharmacy stores, Waves Coffee House, Carnegie Centre, China Town, Downtown Vancover, Stadium, Waterfront, Pigeon Park, Simon Fraser University, Vancouver Film School, Rickshaw Theatre, Vancouver Police Museum and a lot of supermarkets for your grocery shopping. The restaurants in the neighbourhood are Sea Monster Sushi, Creative Bistro, Nicli Antica Pizzeria, Subway, Wild Rice and much more. Walk around and window shop, eat in one of the restaurants, or go to the steam clock and pretend you are one of the many tourists visiting this historical area. The Globe was originally constructed in 1918 and used as a theatre. The building was modernized in 1994 as residential and commercial strata units. This six-level building has concrete construction and brick exterior finishing. There are 10 units in development and in strata.
