Toronto’s real estate market is heating up, with July setting a new year-on-year sales record.

Figures released by the Toronto Regional Real Estate Board (TRREB) revealed that the Greater Toronto Area saw 11,081 sales in July 2020 – a 29.5% increase over the same period in 2019 and a new record for the month of July. 3 Despite of Covid-19 22.3% increase of home sales compare same month last year

Instead, the latest data from theReal Estate Board of Greater Vancouver(REBGV) show 3,128 homes were sold in July, a 22.3 per cent increase from the 2,557 sold during the same month last year. Sales were 28 per cent higher than last month, when 2,443 homes changed hands.

Sales were 9.4 per cent above the 10-year July average.
