The First Baptist Church at 969 Burrard Street, Vancouver, BC, has partnered with Westbank Developers to have the 102 year old cathedral seismicallyupgraded. In return Westbank will have the properties from 1017 to 1045 Nelson to develop for Social Housing as well as Market Housing. The architect is Bing Thom.

This "Heart for the City Project" was started in 2010. The upgrade to the First Baptist Cathedral is estimated to be completed in 2015. 

Crossroads are Burrard Street and Nelson Street.
